The fun part of these Tidal catalogs now is that they are living documents. As new official records get released, I will go ahead and update them moving forward so that they always stay current. You can reference the original post, here. And of course with the Wu – you can likely expect many of these.
- Album: Ghostface Killah – Ghostface Killahs
- Review: It always scares me when an artist puts out a self-titled record (and this is close enough) that isn’t a career reboot album. Often it means they’ve simply run out of new ideas and creativity. Thankfully, I doubt that will ever be Ghostface. Although not nearly the greatest record in his career, the prolific rapper continues to write great stories to flow over vaguely 70s blaxplotation soundtrack beats. There’s not much to say about this one other than it’s a true Ghostface record – perfectly fine, nothing incredibly exciting, nothing terrible.
